I always kind of dread Halloween a little. It is just so much work to get everyone a costume, make sure everyone has a bag, fix treats for their classes, attend school parties, and then at the end of the day trudge around the neighborhood while the kids get bags of candy to sugar up on. It's okay, just not my most favorite holiday. However, this year, Halloween went extremely smooth! The kids picked their costumes. I really wanted them to be something that coordinated, but they each wanted to have their own identity, which is a good thing I guess. The treats I made were extremely easy and everyone liked them. I got to leave work early and go to Kennedi and Cade's class parties. Then, we got to attend our neighborhood gathering. Our next door neighbors opened their yard for the entire neighborhood to come over, eat, visit and mingle. It was a great chance to meet some of our neighbors! Then, they loaded all the kids on a hayride and took them around to trick or treat. The kids loved the ride and had a blast trick or treating with their neighbors! Everyone was happy and overall I would say Halloween 2011 was a success!!
These Are The Days!
Time flies when you are having fun! I worry everyday that I will forget the precious moments that I share with my family, so I have decided that I need to do a better job capturing those memories. My sweet babies are growing so fast and I not only want to remember them as babies, but watch them grow into the amazing people they are!

Sea World in October
We bought season passes to Sea World this summer, but it was SOOOOO hot that we only went one time. We decided to make use of the passes and try out Sea World in October. The weather was PERFECT and the kids were GREAT! Cade even got to go for his first time! Sea World was surprisingly not crowded at all. We got to see 3 shows and lots of animals. Kristy, John, Chayse, and Papa joined us and it truley was an AWESOME day!

More Baseball!
Carson's little coach-pitch baseball team has come a long way this season! The boys have improved so much. They are catching and throwing and really hitting the ball well. Today, I was able to capture some fun times at the baseball field!
Halloween Treats
I really like to be crafty, but I rarely find time to do these things. I enjoy being creative and doing things for my kids. This year, I took some time out to make some Halloween treats for the kids classes. They were not hard at all and turned out really cute!

Fall Festival
This morning we headed to the Fall Festival at our church, St. Matthew's UMC. They had so much to do and see! They had a duck pond (Cade's favorite), bean bag toss, hay ride, petting zoo, bouncy house, arts and crafts, face painting, hot dogs and lemonade, and so much more! We didn't stay too long, but we had fun while we were there! Each kid got to pick out a pumpkin and bring it home too! Stay tuned for the pumpkin carving coming next week!
