Spring Football

Carson had such a good time playing flag football in the winter that he decided to play it again this spring.  He had a great run this morning and is really throwing the ball well.  Best of all, he is having a blast!

Soccer Girl!

Kennedi is finally hold enough to play a sport!  After all these years of watching Carson play, she was more than ready to take the field.  Kennedi picked soccer for her debut sport and she LOVES it!  More to come on our emerging athlete!

Easter

Happy Easter!  We had a great Easter this year, full of fun and family.  Easter morning we woke up early to see what the Easter bunny brought.  That's when we found that he had hid the 12 eggs that we had dyed the night before.  So, we searched for them in our pajamas!  After breakfast, we headed to church to learn all about why we celebrate this great holiday.  When we got home, we rested a bit before family came over to celebrate again.  Nana, Papa, Grandmother, Appah, Kristy, John, Chayse, Cassie, Lexi, Stacy, and Jason all came over to enjoy an early dinner and another egg hunt.  Everyone had a great time.  There is no better time than Easter to count your blessings!

Bullseye

Carson got his first BB gun for his birthday from Nana and Papa.  Jason sat him down and taught him all about the gun and some gun safety.  We explained to him that this is a big boy toy and he had to be responsible when playing with it.  He was so excited to practice shooting!  On his 5th shot, the little turkey hit bullseye!  Do we have a natural here??

First Swim!

I can't believe that we took our first swim of the season on March 31st!  The water was about 89 degrees and it felt great!  The kids were thrilled and Mark, Cassie and Lexi joined us!  This will be the first of many days in the water this summer.

Carson's 7th Birthday Party

On Saturday we celebrated Carson's 7th birthday with a laser tag party!  We invited all the boys from his 1st grade class (10), plus a few more from Rainbow Station.  All of our family was there and we had a great time!  The kids played laser tag for a solid hour and a half, then we had pizza, cake, and ice cream.  Carson had a ball playing with his friends!  He also got some great gifts.  It was a great day!  We are so blessed!
