Carson is 10!

This handsome man turned double digits!  We are so proud of Carson and all of his accomplishments.  He excels at school (always straight A's) and is a budding star on the basketball court.  However, we are most proud of Carson's big heart and his love for his family and friends.  I have never met a more caring, sincere 10 year old.  He loves Cade and Kennedi so much.  One night before Chrismtas, Kennedi was in trouble and I said something like, "I'll have to take some of your presents back."  I went into Carson's room and he was crying.  He said, "I want Kennedi to get presents for Christmas."  Sweet boy!

For his birthday this year, we took 5 of his best buddies bowling and then came back to the house for cake and ice cream.  The boys played xbox and had a great time!  3 of his friends spent were able to spend the night too!  Carson, we love you more than you will ever know!  Happy Birthday!

Main Event

Call me crazy, but we took 6 kids to Main Event over Spring Break.  Carson's friend Mason was over visiting, Chayse was here for a few days, and Kenndi's friend Dani came over for the evening.  We all ate pizza, then the boys bowled while the girls and Cade played laser tag and did the ropes course.  They all played some arcade too!  It was a fun evening...and Jason and I ended it with a glass of wine while the kids shared cookies and milk!

Cousin Time!

Chayse got to come visit for a few days over Spring Break.  As always, the kids had a great time playing together.  Hopefully they will stay close for years to come!

Build A Bear

Nana and Papa got Chayse and Kennedi Build A Bear gift cards for Christmas.  We finally had a chance to use them!  Cade got a bear too!  They had so much fun stuffing their bears, bathing them, picking out clothes and naming them.  Thank you Nana and Papa!

Girls Weekend!

Mom, Kristy, and I headed to Shreveport for a little girl time!  We had a blast!

Firecracker!

Carson was picked to receive the firecracker award this week!  So proud of the young man he is becoming.  Colonel C refers to him as a LEADER in every sense of the word.  I agree!  You make us so proud Carson!
