Watch Dog

The kids LOVE it when Jason is able to be a Watch Dog at school!  This year was extra special, because it is the last year that all 3 kids will be at the same school.  Jason volunteered a day to be in each of the kids classrooms, eat lunch with them, and play on the playground with the kids.  He always comes home exhausted, but the kids are all smiles!

A&M Basketball game

We had an opportunity to take the kids to an A&M basketball game this winter.  Chayse was performing at half time, so we got to see her dance and also see some great basketball.  Although Jason was at A&M for several years, we never saw a game.  It was really a lot of fun!  The traditions at A&M are so rich in all sports.  Who knows, maybe we will have an Aggie basketball player one day??

Kennedi - Upward Basketball

Kennedi has always liked basketball, but never really gotten into it like the boys.  However, this season in Upward, she really decided that she loves this game too!  Kennedi was on a great team and had so much fun with her friends.  The girls played so hard and got really good.  Kennedi had one game of 22 points!  As always, this little girl is going to be good at whatever she puts her mind to!

Cade - Upward Basketball

Cade has natural athletic ability and is generally good at everything he does.  He played basketball for Upward Sports again this winter and did a great job!  Recently, he said that he wants to keep playing basketball and "be just like Carson".  This just makes my heart happy!

Cade and Kennedi's Birthday

Fortunately,  I was able to convince Kennedi and Cade to celebrate their birthdays together again this year.  These two are like peas in a pod, so it really is fitting.   Kennedi invited all of the girls from her class and Cade invited all of the boys from his class.  We had a bouncy house and even a football game going on in the backyard.  All of the kiddos had a great time.

Kennedi is 8, going on 18.  This sweet girl is so smart and such a blessing in our lives.  She is definitely independent and can be sassy, but she loves her family so much.  She is going to be an incredibly successful woman one day soon and I can't wait to see what God has in store for her.

Cade is 6.  Ugh.  I want him to be my baby - always - and I am losing this battle.  Cade is our fun-loving, happy child that always wears a smile.  He wants to make people laugh and he is really good at that!  He is incredibly athletic and has exceeded at everything he has tried.  I thank God everyday for Cade's little grin.

We call Kennedi and Cade, "the littles".  They do everything together.  They play together, work together and fight together.  I cannot imagine life without these two towheads!  Happy Birthday babies!

14 Years and Going Strong!

I love this man more and more every day!  Happy Anniversary Jason!  Thank you for 14 amazing years and 3 beautiful children.  God has been so good to us!  I look forward to the next 14 years and many more!
