Cade plays Baseball

Again, this spring, Cade played some baseball at the YMCA.  This year, he played coach pitch baseball.  It was a little different from the past because after 3 strikes, you are out.  There is no option to hit off the tee if you can't hit the pitch.  Cade was an amazing hitter!  Most games he hit it out into the outfield for a double.  He also did really well playing first base.  This kid continues to amaze us with his natural athletic ability.  I can't wait to see what the future holds for him!

Cade is a Firecracker!

Cade was chosen Firecracker this week!  Cade has had a great kindergarten year.  This week his teacher picked him to receive the firecracker award from his class.  Every other week, a student is recognized for academic achievement, leadership, or good behavior.  We are so proud of our little firecracker.  He was so happy, but for some reason he would NOT crack a smile up on stage?!

3 on 3

Carson and his best friends entered a 3 on 3 tournament.  Mr. Mock coached the boys.  The competition was stiff and they didn't fare as well as they had hoped, but the boys had a great time!  It's always fun to step away from the seriousness of league play and enjoy court time with your besties!

Weekend in Corpus Christi

I had to work in Corpus one Friday and the kids were out of school, so the family came with me!  We stayed in the Paragon condo.  While I worked, Jason and the kids played some miniature golf.  That night we ate at a little pizzeria.  Then, on Saturday we went to the Texas State Aquarium and Gram joined us.  We really had a great time!  The kids even got to swim a little before we headed home.  It was a great little weekend getaway and some really fun family time!
