Spark Volleyball

Kennedi has been attending a volleyball skills and fundamental clinic since November.  It is with a volleyball club called Ignite.  The 15 week session was named Spark and the goal was to teach the kids basic skills so they would be ready to try out for the club team in the summer.  Kennedi loved it!  She improved so much in her passing, setting, and serving.  I didn't get many pics of her training, but I am sure we will see a lot more volleyball in our future!

Happy 12th Birthday Carson!

Slow down time!  I can't believe Carson is 12 years old!  Naturally, Carson wanted to invite some of his best buddies over to play some basketball, swim and enjoy hamburgers and cake.  The boys had a blast and we loved celebrating with our oldest.  Carson is a smart, kind, athletic boy that is sensitive, genuine, and faithful.  We love you Carson more than you will ever know.  Happy Birthday!

Kennedi plays softball!

Kennedi decided to try something new and play softball at the YMCA this spring.  She was a natural!  Kennedi learned to catch and throw very quickly.  She is super strong and figured out how to connect with the bat too!  I'm not sure if it was her favorite sport, but I'm glad she tried it.  Kennedi is super athletic and so far has done great at everything she has tried.  The sky is the limit baby girl.

Flag Football

Cade played flag football this spring with i9.  He had so much fun!  Cade loves football.  It scares this momma, but I do love watching him play.  Cade played quarterback this season and loved every minute of it.  He wants to play tackle football in the fall...yikes, not my baby!

SFS Basketball

Watching Carson play basketball never gets old.  He gets better and better every day.  We love to watch him play the sport he loves so much!  This SFS team is going places and I am so happy that Carson is a part of it!

Spring Break in Corpus!

For Spring Break we decided to take a couple days and head down the road to Corpus Christi!  We went to visit Gram, then stayed at a hotel down on the beach.  The kids got to swim in the indoor pool and we had dinner on the water.  The next day we went to the USS Lexington and toured the ship.  The kids loved it!  Jason is a history guru and was excited to see all the features of the ships along with the fighter planes.  We had a great time!  It was a short trip, not far away, but the family time was priceless!
