Field Trip with Cade

I was so thankful to be able to go with Cade and the 3rd grade on their field trip to the Witte Museum.  The kids had fun looking at the exhibits and climbing the rock wall!

Happy 14th Birthday Carson!

I can't believe it!  My 10 lb, 7 oz baby boy is 14 years old! I couldn't be more proud of him if I tried.  So smart, so athletic, so focused.  The future is bright for this sweet boy!  He and a few friend celebrated at the Escape Room and then dinner at BJs! I wish time would slow down.  Soon he will be a freshman!

Late Birthday Party for Kennedi

January was chalked full of volleyball tournaments and basketball games so we postponed Kennedi's birthday party until March.  She invited her Ignite volleyball team over for bowling and a sleepover.  The girls had so much fun bowling, playing volleyball and staying up all night!  I have never heard so much giggling and squealing!   I don't think any of us slept...  My baby girl is 11 years old!  Pre-teen years, here we come.  Praying for my sweet girl to continue her success in the classroom and on the volleyball court.  We are so proud of you Kennedi Brooke!

Ignite Volleyball Tournaments

Wow! What a fun month of volleyball!  Ignite 12U Blaze has improved so much!  These are pictures from an Austin tournament, and also a Crosscourt Tournament in Houston.  They have rallied together and come so far!  Crosscourt was by far the best I have seen them play. They ended up 3rd place in over 80 teams!  Way to go girls!  I love #15!

2nd place SOA basketball

Basketball really isn't Cade's favorite sport, but when his football buddies asked him to play SOA, he was all in!  This group of ATHLETES played so hard and were so much fun to watch!  They ended up 2nd place in their division.  Sometimes its not about winning championships, but having fun with your friends, playing ball (of any kind) and just being boys!

14U CHAMPIONS!

Don't let their age fool you.  They are only 11, but these two cutes WON a very tough 14U tournament! They played with so much passion and heart!  California here we come!
