SV Basketball

Smithson Valley High School basketball is underway!  Carson made the Freshman team.  He was a little disappointed to make the B team initially.  However, Carson's hard work and determination will no doubt be evident as the season progresses.  In a big 6A high school it is a huge accomplishment to make any team!  Carson knew that he had to prove himself on the court and that is just what he did!  Several games to start season he made 20+ points.  I love the fact that when Carson feels down or defeated he just goes to work.  He is going to go so far in life with this drive for success!

Bathroom Remodel

It was time!  The boys share a relatively big bathroom.  However, it seems it was built for little boys.  The counters were really low.  Carson and Cade are growing like weeds and sooner than later, they will be as big as most adults!  So, this fall, we took the time to remodel their bathroom.  New cabinets and countertops (higher), new floor, new lighting, new fixtures, and new paint.  It looks awesome!
