Merry Christmas from Quarantine

Well, Christmas was very different this year. Last week I had what I thought was a sinus headache and cold. Unfortunately, though, I tested positive for Covid-19. That meant that our entire family had to quarantine for 10 days or until symptom free. School was out for the holidays, but no sports, no practices, no getting out of the house for 10 days. All 5 of us tested on the Wednesday before Christmas in hopes that we would all test negative and get to be with family for Christmas, but unfortunately not only did I test positive again, but Carson, Cade, and Jason all tested positive too. Jason had a slight headache and felt a little tired. The boys had no symptoms at all. And, Kennedi somehow escaped it all together. We were sad not to be with our family on Christmas, but I have to admit, it was really nice to have an entire week to be together, the 5 of us. We didn't really feel sick, so we enjoyed the time together in isolation. Santa was good to us as always. We are so blessed to have each other, especially in midst of this crazy pandemic. Carson scored the big gift this year! He got his first car! Carson turns 16 in March, so it seemed like a good idea to give him 3 months to practice in his very own four wheels. A 2018 Honda Civic made this sweet boy over the moon happy!
