These Are The Days!
Time flies when you are having fun! I worry everyday that I will forget the precious moments that I share with my family, so I have decided that I need to do a better job capturing those memories. My sweet babies are growing so fast and I not only want to remember them as babies, but watch them grow into the amazing people they are!

SNOVID
A 100 year snow/freeze shut the city down for a week in San Antonio, TX!! On top of all the quarantines and craziness of the past year, we now face yet another challenge. Again, we were stuck in the house for a week, but this time literally could not go anywhere if we wanted to. In addition to the crazy snow, many, many houses lost power and water. Fortunately we never lost power and were able to stay warm in our home the entire week. But, we did have a frozen pump in our well that put us without water for about 3 days. No water meant toilets that didn't flush, dishes piled in the sink, and no showers. Jason got creative and found a way to cyphon water from the tank. The boys hauled in 5 gallon buckets of water. I boiled it for cooking, warmed it for sponge baths, and used it sparingly to wash dishes. Kennedi and I took turns washing our hair with the water which made us feel so much better! We were also able to flush toilets with the water from the tank. A pipe burst in the garage, which was fun. Another pipe burst in the attic, which caused a leak through our ceiling straight into the pantry. BUT, we were together, we were healthy, we were warm, had food and water, and had a ton of fun! Others were not as fortunate. Again, we give thanks for our MANY blessings!
