Kindergarten Graduation

Snif, snif!  How did this day come so quickly?  My little Kennedi has completed Kindergarten!  And, very successfully, I might add!  Kenna did so well this year.  Near the end of the year, she kept coming home telling me that she was tested.  Every day she said that a teacher or two would pull her out and "test" her.  Finally, I emailed Mrs. Reed to ask what was going on.  Mrs. Reed told me that Kennedi was testing at a reading level equivalent to the end of second grade and she wanted other teachers to confirm what she was seeing.  She was right!  Not only, is Kennedi a fantastic reader, but she was also accepted into the SAGE program (Gifted and Talented).  In addition, she learned quite a bit of Spanish as a part of the Dual-Language program.  We are so proud of Kennedi and so blessed to have such a smart little girl!
