These Are The Days!

Time flies when you are having fun! I worry everyday that I will forget the precious moments that I share with my family, so I have decided that I need to do a better job capturing those memories. My sweet babies are growing so fast and I not only want to remember them as babies, but watch them grow into the amazing people they are!

Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch

Today we took a drive through Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch!

Saturday with the Suttons

Our good friends, Trae, Bethany, Bekah, and Avery came to visit this weekend!  We had a great time!  We started our fun at Gametown Pizza, where I am not sure who had more fun - the kids or Trae and Jason!  Then, we came back to the house for more fun. The kids swam in the backyard and played on the swingset.  The adults enjoyed adult beverages and awesome food prepared by Jason!

Stitches

Like most Saturday mornings, we headed down to the neighborhood pool.  We were having a great time when Carson decided to jump into the pool a little too close to the side.  He cut his chin open, pretty deep.  Soooo, Jason brought the 2 little ones home and Carson and I headed to the ER.  He ended up with 9 stitches!  He was a trooper.  It was a very traumatic experience, but a learning experience to say the least!

In the ER for the first time...a little scary!
Right under the chin...ouch!

Family Night at the Witte

On Friday, July 16th, Pape-Dawson Engineers hosted "Family Night at the Witte".  All Pape-Dawson employs and their families were free to come and enjoy the museum all to ourselves, as well as enjoy hamburgers and hotdogs for dinner!  The kids had a ball!  At first, Kennedi was a little scared of the dinosaurs, but Carson kept telling her, "Kennedi, they are just robots!".  Cade was perfect.  He took his bottle and slept in the stroller most of the evening.  It was a great time!

Vacation Bible School 2010

This week we went to VBS at St. Matthews UMC!  The kids had a ball learning about being God's treasure!  Carson was in the K, 1st, and 2nd grade class.  Kennedi was in the pre-school class with 3 and 4 year olds, and Cade hung out in the nursery.  I helped out where needed.  It was a great time in a great environment!

Cade is 6 Months

This morning I took Cade for his 6 month check up.  To no surprise, he is in the 100th percentile in height and weight!  He measured 28 and 1/2 inches and weighed in at 21 pounds and 5 ounces.  He is doing everything he should be doing for his age.  He is rolling everywhere, babbling constantly, and trying to sit up (not quite there just yet).  And, Cade got his FIRST TOOTH yesterday!   We knew he was working on it, and yesterday Jason saw that it finally came on through!  Unfortunately, he also has an ear infection and a little bit of wheezing.  So, we start again tonight, antibiotics and breathing treatments:(  Happy Half-Year Birthday Cade boy!!

Birthday Weekend!

July 10th is a busy day in our family!  On this day we celebrate birthdays for my dad, my sister, and Jason's mom.  That's right,  3 people in our immediate family have the same birthday!!  This year dad celebrated his 55th, Kristy her 30th, and Jennifer her 60th!!  So, Jason and I alternate years celebrating with different families.  This year we headed to the ranch.  Our much missed friends, Wendi and her children came out and we had a great time looking at all the animals, fishing, and catching up as the children played.  Then, we went to Taylor for dinner.  Everyone was there - mom, dad, my little family, and Kristy's family.  It is always a great time when we all get together!

Cade Bradley Diamond

Cade is the newest member of the Diamond family!  My precious baby is the one we call our "happy child"!!  I'm not sure if it is because he is 3 of 3, but Cade is so content and happy all the time!  He has the biggest smile you have ever seen.  He LOVES to watch his brother and sister and interact with them.  He rolls all over...everywhere!  All 3 of our children are in the 100th percentile for height and weight, but Cade just might be the biggest of all!  He sleeps good, he eats good, he plays good.  Cade is all around an awesome baby!

Kennedi Brooke Diamond

I love having a little girl!  Kennedi definitely keeps me on my toes. She is 2 and 1/2 years old...going on 12!  She is such a sweet, sweet girl...when she wants to be!  Those bright blue eyes and golden curls can pierce right through your heart.  Her laugh is contagious and her smile is heartfelt.  HOWEVER, she knows what she wants and does not like to be told no!  She is much more aggressive than her older brother.  Kennedi can be shy at times and extremely outgoing at times.  She is strongwilled and independent, yet loves to wear pink and pretty jewelry!

Carson Travis Diamond

Carson is my oldest baby.  He is 5 years old and will be starting Kindergarten this year!  How would I describe Carson?  He is an amazing little boy, full of curiosity, a HUGE heart, thirsty for knowledge, extremely sensitive and bright beyond words.  Carson baffles me everyday as I watch his little brain take in new information like a sponge.  He has a memory like no other!  He loves all little boy things: trucks, bulldozers, tractors, cars, and little boy mischief too!  He also loves his baby sister and brother so much.  Carson is such a sweet child and I look forward to watching him grow into an incredible young man!
