These Are The Days!

Time flies when you are having fun! I worry everyday that I will forget the precious moments that I share with my family, so I have decided that I need to do a better job capturing those memories. My sweet babies are growing so fast and I not only want to remember them as babies, but watch them grow into the amazing people they are!

Diamond Christmas

After we settle from all the excitement from Christmas morning, we quickly pick up the trash, take our toys upstairs and get ready for more fun!  Jason, Stacy, Makenzie, Jennifer, Cassie, Mark, and Lexi came over Christmas afternoon to celebrate again with us.  As usual we have a great evening of fun and family.  I am so thankful to be a part of such a loving and generous family!

Christmas 2016

After we celebrate at Nana and Papa's, we hurry home, get dressed and head to Christmas Eve service at church.  It is always my favorite service of the year.  I pray that the kids always remember the true meaning of the season in the midst of all the hustle and bustle.  After church, we have to bake cookies for Santa, shower, and hit the sack in anticipation for Christmas morning.  It is a feeling that I don't think many of us will ever outgrow!  For the second year in a row, we told the kids that they have to wait until 7:00 a.m. to come down the stairs...and they listen!  After that, all bets are off!  I love the smiles and laughter.  I love the delight in their eyes and their thankful hearts.  This year Carson got his first phone, yikes!, Kennedi got a laptop, and Cade got his very own ipod...wow, they must have been angels!  As always, it was a great morning of family time and playing.  All of the kids were extremely grateful for the blessings we have been given.

Haisler Christmas

Like every year, we gathered at Kristy and John's home on Christmas Eve to celebrate Christmas and open gifts.  Each year it gets more and more special as we realize how quickly time flies by.  Our babies aren't babies anymore.  And, we are not getting any younger!  How blessed we are to have such an amazing family that we can spend time with on the eve of Christ's birth.
