These Are The Days!

Time flies when you are having fun! I worry everyday that I will forget the precious moments that I share with my family, so I have decided that I need to do a better job capturing those memories. My sweet babies are growing so fast and I not only want to remember them as babies, but watch them grow into the amazing people they are!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Our family is so blessed!  We have so much to be thankful for. Every day I thank God for my 3 beautiful children that  I love so much.  I thank Him for my amazing husband that is so loving to me and our kids.  I thank God for my parents that are always there for me and show unconditional love towards me, my family, and each other.  I am thankful for my in laws that are always willing to help us out and love their children and grandchildren so much.  I am thankful for my sister and her beautiful family.  I am thankful for my brother and sister in-law and their precious families that are always there when we need them.  This year in particular, I am thankful for our new home where we will raise our children.  I am thankful that we sold our old home after a few months of multiple mortgages.  I am thankful for my job and Jason's job that affords us a beautiful lifestyle and gives us flexibility to be involved in our children's lives.  I am thankful for so many other things that would take a week to put on paper.  But, most of all I am thankful for my relationship with God, our church and the fact that our children know Jesus Christ!

This year we had Thanksgiving lunch at our house.  The entire family couldn't make it, but we had more food that we should have and enjoyed good company!  I was on-call and had to go into the pharmacy for about an hour and a half.  I hated to leave, but providing this infusion allowed our patient to  go home to his family on Thanksgiving instead of being in the hospital, so it was totally worth it.  I didn't take many pictures, but here are a few.  My favorite is the last one where Cade fell asleep at the dinner table.  He was worn out after all the food and fun!

Sweet Moments

These two pictures are random, but so, so sweet.  In the first one, Kennedi fell asleep on the couch in her panties reading her Bible.  In the second one, Cade and I fell asleep on the couch after dinner.  These are 2 moments I never want to forget.

Thanksgiving Feast at Rainbow Station

At Rainbow Station, Kennedi and Cade's classes shared a feast with their families to celebrate Thanksgiving!  Both classes ate at the same time.  At first we weren't sure if Jason was going to be able to make it, so I was trying to figure out how I could be in two places at once.  But, Jason made it after all!  He had lunch with Kennedi and I had lunch with Cade.  I just love to be a part of these activities and I am thankful that my job allows me to.  Most of all, I am thankful for these precious babies that bless my life every day!

Donuts with Dad

The school Carson attends is a brand new elementary.  So, this year there are lots of "firsts".  Jason and I are on the PTA and it has been fun to watch the school grow and learn over the past few months.  Jason is a co-chair of the Dad's Club and their first official event was Donuts with Dad.  We really had no idea how many dads would come and have breakfast with their child.  I bought 20 dozen donuts, we had coffee, and juice.  It was AMAZING!  The turnout was overwhelming!  Even though we ran out of donuts, I was so proud to see so many dads at the school with their kids.  I looked up at one point and saw Carson gleaming.  He whispered to his friend, "that's my dad" when Jason stood up and made an announcement.  I am so thankful that we are able to be a part of Kinder Ranch Elementary PTA!

Baseball Party

Last night was Carson's end-of-the-year baseball party!  We celebrated a great season at Gametown Pizza.  The kids played games, ate pizza, and got their medals and trophies.  It was so much fun to see the kids proud of their accomplishments!

Field trip with Kennedi

Last Friday I was fortunate enough to get to go on a field trip with Kennedi's class.  We went to a public library for storytime.  All of the kids had a great time and I am sooooo thankful that I am able to be a part of things like this.
