These Are The Days!

Time flies when you are having fun! I worry everyday that I will forget the precious moments that I share with my family, so I have decided that I need to do a better job capturing those memories. My sweet babies are growing so fast and I not only want to remember them as babies, but watch them grow into the amazing people they are!

Happy Birthday Carson!

It seems like just yesterday that we brought our first born child into the world! 10 pounds and 7 ounces, Carson Travis made his debut. 6 years later he is a smart, handsome, and oh so sweet little boy! Carson makes us so proud. Thank you sweet boy for making us parents 6 years ago! We love you so much! Saturday  we celebrated the occasion at Gametown Pizza, Toy Story style. All of our family and some of Carson's friends from his kindergarten class joined us. Everyone had a great time!

End of the Season Party

On Sunday, Carson's basketball team gathered at Gametown Pizza for a little fun and fellowship and to celebrate the end of a great season.  Each of the boys grew so much and learned so much about the game of basketball.   I look forward to watching many more years of my favorite sport, but most importantly watching my children have fun on the court!

Spring Break 2011

We took our longest family road trip to date this Spring Break.  Jason and I took off Thursday and Friday and we headed to Merkel, TX.  One of my best friends in the world lives there and we were long overdue for a visit.  Ashley and her husband, Marcus, welcomed us into their home and we had a great time visiting and playing with Logan (4) and Easton (20 months).  The kids all played so well together!

Our first stop was lunch at Dairy Queen in Junction, TX.

The kids played so hard!

Marcus cooked amazing steaks  for us!

We also went to watch Marcus's team play baseball.  However it was hot and during naptime so unfortunately we didn't get to stay too long.

And we finished the day with popsickles in the kitchen!

It was a fun trip, and so great to hang out with the Malone's!  I can't wait until the kids get a little older and we can take more road trips.  Family time is what it is all about!

First Steps!

And...we're off!!!  Cade will be 14 months tomorrow, and this weekend he decided it was time to start walking!  On Thursday night he took 5-6 steps between Jason and I several times.  On Friday he walked at school some.  On Saturday he took 6-8 steps between adults, and today---he walked around the living room!  I have to admit I am a little sad.  My last baby is not a baby anymore!  However, he was getting heavy so all is good!  Look out...Cade is on the loose!

Weekend at the Ranch

We headed to the Ranch this weekend for the first time since Christmas.  Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate too well.  It was cold and very windy!  However, it was still great to hang out with Nana and Papa and just enjoy some down time.  Kristy, John, and Chayse came to visit on Saturday afternoon and the kids did get a little outside time in.  Here are a few pictures...
