These Are The Days!

Time flies when you are having fun! I worry everyday that I will forget the precious moments that I share with my family, so I have decided that I need to do a better job capturing those memories. My sweet babies are growing so fast and I not only want to remember them as babies, but watch them grow into the amazing people they are!

Loving the pool!

I have 3 little fish!  It is only May, but the kids are LOVING the pool this year!  We have been in the water multiple times already and they just can't get enough.  One afternoon, I took the opportunity to take some pictures and got a few really good ones!

1st Grade was a SUCCESS!

I can't believe that Carson has finished 1st grade!  Where, oh where, has time gone?  Carson had such a great year.  He finished the year reading on level 24 (you have to be on level 16 to graduate 1st grade), adding and substracting double digits, beginning multiplication (he has 1s, 2s, 3s, 5s, and 10s memorized), and a learned a slew of science facts.  His report card was absoutly PERFECT with E's across the boards.  His 1st grade awards were last Thursday and Carson got the "Whopper" award for outstanding handwriting and great storytelling.  Carson really does such a great job of putting together a story on paper, including an introduction, plot, and conclusion. He also got a perfect attendance award. I could not be more proud of my baby, that is now a little boy...and a 2nd grader!

TOT awards

Kennedi has absolutely LOVED being a part of TOT (Teams of Tomorrow) this year.  Every Thursday she looks forward to wearing her orange TOT shirt to school.  She has learned so much - not only an introduction to basketball skills, but also many other educational things, like counting in various languages, right vs. left, and a lot about good sportsmanship!  This past Thursday they did a final performance and to their awards.  Kennedi did a great job!  I am so proud of my TOT superstar!

Firecracker

Last week Carson one the Firecracker award for his class!  Every week all of the teachers at KRE pick one student from their class that has stood out.  At the Friday morning celebration those students stand up before the school and the principal reads their certificate for everyone to hear.  Jason and I were there to watch Carson receive his award.  We are so proud of him!
