These Are The Days!

Time flies when you are having fun! I worry everyday that I will forget the precious moments that I share with my family, so I have decided that I need to do a better job capturing those memories. My sweet babies are growing so fast and I not only want to remember them as babies, but watch them grow into the amazing people they are!

Rockport Reunion

Our family enjoys a beach trip every summer.  This summer it was extra special because we had the awesome opportunity to spend it with some family that we don't get to see often!  Carson, Kennedi, and Cade had a chance to meet some cousins they have never met before enjoyed a great day at the Rockport beach.  We drove down on Sunday morning.  Sunday afternoon we played at the beach a little, then had dinner at Charlotte Plummers.  We got a head start on the reunion as Jack and Jane (mom's aunt and uncle), Laura, Jeff (mom's first cousin), Ben, Emma, Mom, Dad, Kristy, John and Chayse joined us.  That evening as the kids settled down, we played a few games of 42 and got ready for the next day.

On Monday we headed to the beachfront pavillon that Jack and Jane reserved.  It was awesome!  It was right on the water, had a huge porch with fans and inside was an air-conditioned room with a small kitchen and private bathroom.  It was perfect!  Laura had crafts for the kids to make.  Jane outdid herself with decorations and arranging the room.  Jeff was gracious enough to take us out on his boat for a cruise around the canal.  It was an AMAZING day and everyone had a BLAST!  Dedra (mom's first cousin) and Chris were there too with their 3 kids, Laura, Kate, and Travis.  In total, there were 9 kids and 12 adults.  We are so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful family.
