Happy Birthday Kennedi!

My sweet little girl is 5!  Kennedi is the smartest, prettiest, sassiest, and sweetest little girl I know.  She has grown into a little lady that is beautiful inside and out.  She definitely tests me every day as a mother, but she has made me a better mom and for that I am grateful.  My princess is 5 years old and I only wish I could slow time down so I could keep her in my arms forever!

Upward Basketball

It's basketball time!  I have to admit, this is my favorite sport and I just LOVE watching my kids play the game that was so much a part of my life.  This year we signed them up for Upward Bounds Basketball program.  It is a Christian-based program that teaches kids not only basketball skills, but sportsmanship, teamwork, and other Christ-like skills. 

Kennedi is on the kinder team (even though she is barely 5 and won't go to kindergarten until next year).  Her team was the "Little Aggies".  Carson is on the 1st/2nd grade team, the "Razorbacks." 

Both kids got great coaches and seem to really be leaning a lot.  The devotions after every practice and at every half-time really put sports into perspective!

Double Birthday, Double Fun!

The past 2 years we have had Kennedi and Cade's birthday parties together.  This year we had talked about doing them separately because each of them are really developing their own friendships, likes, etc.  Kennedi came to me and said she would really like to have a bouncy house.  Then, Cade said that he would love to have pony rides at his party.  We sat them down and explained that if they would agree to have their party at the same time, we could have a big party, invite all their friends, and have both a bouncy house and pony rides.  They agreed!!

It was a beautiful day and we had a great group!  The bouncy house was a huge hit.  The lady that brought the pony also brought a petting zoo for the kids to enjoy and did face painting.  At the very end she brought out a baby kangaroo for the kids to pet and take a picture with.  It was so much fun!  The kids had a ball and so did we.  Thanks to all the family and friends that joined us to celebrate 3 and 5 years of age!

Cade is 3!

It can't be!  My sweet little blond hair, brown eyed baby is three years old!  I often describe Cade Bradley as my "happy" child.  Cade has a way of bringing a smile into any room he enters.  We constantly smile and laugh every time we are around this precious boy.  He says the funniest things and can brighten anyone's day.  Not only do we think Cade is so great, but we are always getting notes and messages from his friends, their parents, and his teachers about how much everyone loves being around Cade Bradley! 

Each of my children are so different, yet so special in their own way.  Cade is as smart as the others, but he might also be a class clown one day!  He loves to be silly and make others laugh even when he knows what the right answer is.  Along with his amazing personality, Cade will probably be a great athlete one day too.  He loves to shoot baskets and run the football with Carson.  He dribbles, tackles, and runs right alongside the other two.  He cannot wait for his day on the court or the field, and it won't be long now!

I love this baby so much!  I love to cuddle with him.  I love to snuggle with him, and I love, love, love his sweet kisses.  Happy Birthday Cade.  Mommy and Daddy love you more than you will ever know...now stop growing so fast!

Happy 11th Anniversary!

Jason and I celebrated 11 years of wedded bliss this year!  We've finished college together, bought 3 houses, had 3 kids, and I've had 3 jobs.  He truley is my best friend and soul mate.  We laugh toghether, cry together, pray together, and dream together.  To celebrate, we stayed at RoseHill Manor, a little bed and breakfast just outside of  Fredericksburg for the weekend.  It was a great time relaxing and enjoying each other.  We wine tasted, ate, shopped, and ate some more!  I love you Jason and I look forward to the next 11 years and more!
