These Are The Days!

Time flies when you are having fun! I worry everyday that I will forget the precious moments that I share with my family, so I have decided that I need to do a better job capturing those memories. My sweet babies are growing so fast and I not only want to remember them as babies, but watch them grow into the amazing people they are!

Cade plays sand volleyball!

With flag football and SOA basketball coming to an end, Cade was looking for something to fill his time before tackle football and conditioning start up this summer.  He decided to try sand volleyball with Kennedi!  It is a great way to condition - moving in the sand, jumping, the heat, etc.  He loves it!  The first time he and his friend tried it, we couldn't have laughed more. They were a hoot!  Now, Cade is moving up courts and competing with the 12s.  I love his willingness to try new things! He's a natural.

i9 Flag Football

Cade and his buddies just can't stay off the football field!  They played in the i9 flag football league this winter (4th-6th grade).  Even though Cade was a year young, he did great!  The boys had a blast while we froze!  I love watching Cade play football.  Flag is even more fun because there is no helmet to hide his expressions!

Busy Weekend

I have to write just a blurb about this weekend.  Friday night, pretty late, Carson and Kennedi and I headed to Austin for a very busy weekend.  Kennedi had a volleyball tournament Saturday and Sunday and Carson's basketball team was doing a fundraiser not far away, working the concession stand at a football tournament.  I hopped from one kid to the other and loved every minute of it!  Jason was back in SA for a basketball game and flag football game with Cade.  I keep telling myself that one day I'm going to miss this craziness.  For now, I LOVE IT! These pictures were taken in the lobby of the hotel about 6:30 a.m.--fueling up for the day!

3rd Grade Bible

Despite all the success our kids have in school and in their sports, learning to love God is my proudest accomplishment for each of them.  All three kids have received their bible in the 3rd grade.  They all attend Sunday School and church regularly.  I believe that they have Jesus in their hearts and that makes me so happy.  Cade is the baby, but today he got his 3rd grade bible at church!  My prayer is for Cade to read his new bible, learn as much as he can, and spread the good news!

Pieper Ranch Basketball

Go Vipers!  It was a tough season, but not bad for the first year a school is open.  Carson played well on the 8th grade A team, started the majority of games, and contributed both offensively and defensively.  Overall, it was a great stepping stone towards next year and high school basketball.  As always, Carson made us very proud!  He is such a talented kid - on and off the court!
