We had no doubts! Kennedi is super excited for her first opportunity to play a school sport!

1st day of School

Last year was an exception. They didn't go back after Spring Break due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Some online instruction, but minimal. The kids missed their friends and even though they complained, they missed the school routine. This year Comal ISD has given families an option for in-person school or remote learning. In our house it was a resounding YES to return to school! They will be required to wear a mask and social distance. Classes will be smaller. Athletics will be different. No water fountains, no hugs, no recess. But, the kids are so happy to get to at least see some of their friends and return to what may be a "new normal". I pray for my kids, all kids, teachers, and staff for a healthy year. I pray for minimal illness, quality learning, and happy children. Only God knows what this year will entail, but for now we will do our best to embrace what we are given. Here we go! Cade's last year of elementary school - 5th grade, Kennedi -7th grade, and Carson 10th grade.

New Paint

After so much time at home during quarantine, we decided our house could use some updates. First up was trading out our hunter green walls with a much lighter ivory tone. We love it! It brightened the house up so much! We also updated the laundry room from a mustard yellow color to a charcoal gray that looks great with the cabinets. Lots more projects on the list, but extremely happy with this one! Here are some before, during, and after pics!
