These Are The Days!

Time flies when you are having fun! I worry everyday that I will forget the precious moments that I share with my family, so I have decided that I need to do a better job capturing those memories. My sweet babies are growing so fast and I not only want to remember them as babies, but watch them grow into the amazing people they are!

New Year's Eve

What an amazing 2011 our family had!  We are truley blessed beyond measure.  Life has been so good to us.  Everyday I thank God for my beautiful family and the life that we live.  New Year's Eve we had our precious niece, Chayse, over to play.  The kids always have so much fun together.  They played outside and inside.  We had pizza and rootbeer floats.  They saw some of the "crackers" as Kennedi called them, and then they snuggled on the couch for a movie.  Then, the girls proceeded to giggle in bed until almost 11:00!  We had a great end to 2011!

Diamond Christmas

Christmas afternoon we headed over to Stacy and Jason's house for the Diamond family Christmas.  Once again, the kids were overwhelmed with gifts!  The food was great and the fellowship was fun.  I was proud of the kids for being grateful and I left feeling sooooo blessed with such a wonderful family!

Christmas Morning

There is nothing more fun than watching your children on Christmas morning!  Carson burst into our room at 7:30 a.m. and was ecstatic that Santa had come!  He proceeded to wake up Kennedi and Cade and then the fun began.  The kids were so excited to get the new bikes that Santa left.  They opened gift after gift and were thrilled to see what was inside.  As a parent you always want to do more for your children.  Jason and I are so blessed that we were able to give our kids a Christmas they won't forget!

Haisler Christmas

This year was probably the best Christmas ever for our little family!  The kids are at such great ages!  They all believe in the Christmas magic whole heartedly.  Their little faces light up like light bulbs with each and every moment.  The kids are learning about the real reason for the season and were truly happy to celebrate Jesus's birthday this year!  We talked to the kids a lot this year about how blessed we are and how not every child has the good fortune that they do.  We have pounded thankfulness into their little heads and preach gratefulness on a daily basis.  They still have more to learn, but I was very proud of their behavior and appreciativeness this Christmas.

We celebrated Christmas Eve at Kristy and John's house in Round Rock.  Nana and Papa overdid themselves with gifts for the kids and as always they had a great time playing with cousin Chayse.  Needless to say, they were worn out by the time we got home!

The Polar Express

This year Nana and Papa surprised their grandchildren with a trip to the North Pole on the Polar Express!  What a magical day!  It was a long drive to Palestine, but when we got there, the experience was priceless.  We boarded the train and took an hour long ride.  Midway we arrived at the North Pole and Santa boarded the train.  The kids got hot chocolate and a cookie, just like in the movie. The chefs danced in the aisles with the kids, and Santa handed out the first gift of Christmas!  I just LOVE the ages of the kids right now.  All 4 of them were so excited.  Everything is so real for them and the belief on their faces was worth a million dollars.  Thanks Nana and Papa for a day we will never forget!
