Getting Ready for China

This afternoon the Shumway Family hosted a fun time for the SFS basketball team to get together and make final preparations for our upcoming trip to China.  The boys got new shooting shirts and cool basketball cards personalized with their names.  We ate burgers, the kids swam, and the adults visited.  This team and their families are so amazing.   We are blessed to be a part of such a great group.  I can't believe we are about to go around the world with them!

SFS Basketball

This particular weekend, Carson played in 2 tournaments, one with the Bucks and another with SFS.  Lots of playing time and great outcomes!  SFS won the championship in their division.  On this team, Carson is still working to earn more playing time and his goal each game is to contribute to the teams success, which he does more and more each time.  We are so proud of him to be on this amazing team.  He is a year younger than almost all the players, but he holds his own.  One day soon, all that hard work is going to pay off sweet boy.  Never give up!
