These Are The Days!

Time flies when you are having fun! I worry everyday that I will forget the precious moments that I share with my family, so I have decided that I need to do a better job capturing those memories. My sweet babies are growing so fast and I not only want to remember them as babies, but watch them grow into the amazing people they are!

Happy Birthday Chayse!

Party like a rock star!  I can't believe our sweet niece Chayse is 7!  This year she had her birthday party at a cute little salon.  The girls got their rock star hairstyles, got to decorate a guitar, put on make-up and had a BLAST!!  The boys met us afterwards for dinner.  It was a great time and a fun way to celebrate Chayse's birthday!

Sea World

On September 27, Comal ISD was out of school for Comal County Fair Day.  However, NEISD and North Side ISD had school.  So, I thought it would be a great time to go to Sea World!  The kids and I had a great day playing at Sea World, watching the shows, riding some rides, and enjoying the short lines!  I especially enjoyed a fun day with my 3 most precious gifts!

Basketball

Carson is playing basketball with SOA this season.  After 2 long seasons of football, and a great winter season of basketball last year, he has decided to go with basketball again for the fall.  Carson is built like a basketball player, long and lean.  He really has a great shot, handles the ball well, and is extremely competitive on the court.  Of course, it makes me really happy to see him excel in a sport that I love so much.  I love to watch his passion on the court.  I know that he will continue to grow as a player every year.  Go Roadrunners!

Soccer

This season Kennedi is playing soccer at the YMCA.  Kennedi truly enjoys running around the field and she really has a strong leg.  Most importantly, she has a lot of fun playing soccer and is part of a great group of girls.  Go Tigers!

Firecracker!

Every Friday at Kinder Ranch they have a Friday Celebration to start the day.  This year Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade alternate Friday's with 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.  At Friday Celebration they say the pledge, have a moment of silence, recite cheers, recognize birthdays, and recognize outstanding students in the form of a "Firecracker" award!  Each teacher chooses 1 student from his/her class to be their firecracker.  That student goes up front and the principle reads a special certificate to them in front of the entire school.  It really is a great honor!  So, not too much to our surprise, Kennedi was chosen as Firecracker at the 1st Friday celebration!  We are so proud of her and so excited to watch her excel in kindergarten!  Way to go KK!
