These Are The Days!

Time flies when you are having fun! I worry everyday that I will forget the precious moments that I share with my family, so I have decided that I need to do a better job capturing those memories. My sweet babies are growing so fast and I not only want to remember them as babies, but watch them grow into the amazing people they are!

Diamond Christmas

Christmas afternoon we cleaned up (kind of) our mess and got ready to celebrate again with the Diamond side of the family!  Again, we had such a fun time!  Makenzie was such a doll, Lexi is all grown up, and our kids were just loving every minute of the day.  Once again, we said our thanks for a wonderful family and the opportunity to celebrate this magical time of the year together.

Merry Christmas!

Well, the Diamond family must have been good this year!  It seems so stressful in the days leading up to Christmas.  Parties, gifts, shopping, concerts at school, etc, etc.  But, Christmas morning it is all worth it.  The rule in our house is that the kids can't come down the stairs until 7:00 a.m.  Not sure how we pulled that off, but it worked again this year!  But, at exactly 7:00, they bound down the stairs to see if Santa came!  Well, Santa left the kids a scavenger hunt this year, just to see how well they could work together.  It was really fun, and at the end, they all got really cool gifts!  Cade got a go-kart, Kennedi got a gymnastics bar and mats, and Carson got a rebounder to use out on the sport court.  The kids were happy and that makes us happy!  They did allow us to make a cup of coffee before we dove into more gifts, made breakfast, and poured mimosas!  These are the days I never want to forget.  I wish the kids would stop growing so fast!  I love the smiles, grateful hugs, squeals of delight and uncontrollable laughter!  Happy Birthday Jesus!

The Night Before Christmas

I've said it before, but the night before Christmas is probably my favorite night of the year!  We just get home from Christmas with my family, then we change clothes and attend the candlelight service at our church --my favorite!  We remember the reason for the season and sing praises to the newborn King!  Then, when we get home, the kids shower and change into pajamas, we get cookies and milk ready for Santa and then off to bed we go!  It's magical and I pray that it stays this magical for years to come!!

Haisler Christmas

Another beautiful Christmas Eve with my side of the family!  Kristy and John hosted a fun afternoon of great food, games, gifts and fellowship.  This is a busy time of the year, but relaxing and spending time with family is what it is all about.  I am very thankful for my family and the fun times we had today!
