These Are The Days!

Time flies when you are having fun! I worry everyday that I will forget the precious moments that I share with my family, so I have decided that I need to do a better job capturing those memories. My sweet babies are growing so fast and I not only want to remember them as babies, but watch them grow into the amazing people they are!

Fiesta Carnival

Rainbow Station holds a carnival every year around FIESTA in San Antonio!  They had lots of activities for the kids to do.  We were able to do most of them before we got rained out!

Miss Bastrop County

Chayse is becoming a regular beauty queen!  This time Kennedi and I went and watched her get crowned Miss Bastop County for her age group!  She did an outstanding job and looked beautiful.  So proud of you Chayse Lynn!

Race at the Ranch

Every year Kinder Ranch Elementary hosts a "Race at the Ranch".  It is a fun day filled with a 1 mile fun run, 5K, Health and Activity Fair, food, music, etc, etc.  I have been the chair of the Health and Activity Fair for the past 2 years.  We have had 15-20 vendors each year (ranging from dentists to karate instructors to nutrition companies) set up booths to promote their  business and promote wellness in our community.  This year we also had the Bexar/Bulverde Fire Department bring a truck as well as Airlife land a helicopter!  It really is a fun day for the entire family!

This year Jason, Carson, Kennedi, and Cade ran the 1 mile.  Carson ran the mile in 6:44 but came in 4th in his age group.  Kennedi placed 3rd in 5 year old girls (and Jason came in 4th in this category, ha!).  Cade ran the beginning and the end, but hung out with me at the health fair while they ran the most of the mile!  Maybe next year our family will try the 5K??
