Merry Christmas 2013!

It is an amazing time of the year where we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.  We celebrate new beginnings, faith, and family.  I like to sit back and reflect on all the blessings in my life -- which are many!  My biggest blessing is my sweet family.  My husband who is my rock, my children which are my heart, my parents that have taught me unconditional love, my sister, my in-laws, and all the others that are so influential in making my life the great life it is.  Christmas is a magical time of year.  The smiles are contagious and the wide eyes are what make it even more special!  I absolutely love watching my children during Christmas as they uncover the beauty of the season.  I pray that they always believe and they always keep that child-like spirit in their hearts.

Christmas at the Wilsons

Like most years, we celebrated Christmas with the Haisler family at Kristy and John's house.  As usual the kids played hard, we had great food, and enjoyed a few hours of quality family time.  Every year I just pray that the kids know that Christmas is about so much more than pretty ribbons and gifts.  They were all very grateful for the things they got.  Probably one of the best gifts they can receive is a strong sense of family and they definitely got that on this day!  They also LOVE being around their cousin Chayse.  Great day for everyone!  Merry Christmas!!

Christmas Parties for All!

It's one of the busiest times of year, but also one of the most fun!  This year I took off work the week before Christmas just so I could finish up shopping and participate in ALL that was going on at the kids schools!  The kids always have a great time making crafts, playing games, and eating at their class Christmas parties.  Fortunately this year I was able to make all of theirs!  Memories for sure!!

Concerts at KRE

Mrs. Finkbinder, the music teacher at KRE, always does a fantastic job with the Christmas concerts!  It is always a great way to kick off the season and watch the kids sing their little hearts out!

Christmas Play at BUMC

Carson and Kennedi participated in the church Christmas play this year.  They both did an outstanding job!  Carson was a wise man and Kennedi was a sweet angel---that had a speaking part!  As always we were so proud of them.  Mostly, I am proud of their faith and that they know what Christmas is really all about!
